How to Register & Schedule your state contractor exams

'Register' for all of your exams at the same time. You'll be able to 'schedule' the testing dates later. It costs $135 to register and takes about 2 weeks before you're in the system. You'll receive an email from Pearson Vue with your 'Authorization to Test' and Candidate ID number.

You can test at any PearsonVue test centers in the USA. Exams cost between $40-$80 to schedule.
Tips to test as quickly as possible:
If you need to test as soon as possible, here are some tips to move your test date up.
Search multiple testing centers, there are more than 20 PearsonVue locations throughout the state. You can test at any PeasonVue in the county. Out of state locations tend to have many more openings available.
Take any date PearsonVue has available, you'll be able to move the test date up or back once you're in their system. You can reschedule your exams without penalty up to 72 hours prior to your test date.
Log into PearsonVue's Site 3 times a day (morning, noon, and night) attempt to reschedule your test date at your preferred testing center. It may take several days of looking, but you will find a open spot that someone else has canceled.
